Owners wanted to revitalize this 130 year old Victorian two family in the Heights section of Jersey City. While we were to revitalize we needed to retain all original details and recreate details which had been lost over the years.
We restored all original plaster mouldings, tin ceilings, oak parquet floors and three piece door mouldings. Where original details were lost, mainly the front door. We sourced an authentic replacement from an architectural salvage yard in Pennsylvania.
This home was modernized with two zone heating systems, new electrical service, basement drainage system, new roof, new windows and many other elements.
